Piano, piano is a group show that defies concepts of time as an imposed structure. It slows down; it accelerates; it suspends. Through content, process or materials we are hurled into dog days, endless mornings, a fever dream. This stretched feeling of time is where the world is paused but where feelings, desires, emotions run high. A response to society’s pressure for anyone to be omnipresent, piano piano, turns the gaze inward for a long look inside our own dreams and fantasies resulting in the imaginary realities of places such as home, society and the world.

Accessibility note: My work will be displayed on the ground floor, a location accessible to people who use wheelchairs, although other parts of the exhibition are down a flight of stairs.
